Solo travel: I find it fascinating, I find it scary, I find it the best and worst experience ever. My advice: if this is the first time you’re traveling solo, you should start with a short trip. Don’t travel half across the world all by yourself because you will end up feeling lonely. Trust me, I know.  Oh, and it should be a place where you are able to understand the language. In that case, you will never be completely alone during an emergency. Anyway, I think you should start with a citytrip. It could be a new place or somewhere you have been before. How about Paris or London? There is nothing more exciting than arriving in a new city and let the adventure begin. The freedom, the chance to do whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want. You don’t have to think about anyone or anything but yourself. Traveling…

Everyone has heard of the concept ‘bucket list’, a so-called list which contains all the things you would like to do before you die. Of course there’s also a ‘travel bucket list’, a list with all the trips you would still like to make. I’ve been thinking about what places I would like to visit and… Oh, wait, my travel bucket list and my bucket list are pretty much the same. I would like to share it with you guys. First off, there are some countries I’ve never been to. One country closer than the other. In order of proximity: – Iceland – Canada – Singapore – Australia/Tasmania (and New Zealand, why not?) A lot of people go backpacking in Australia. Somehow this attracts me and somehow it doesn’t. I’m someone who likes to have everything in order and arranged in advance. To find accommodation, in a place you haven’t…

I’ve been wanting to write this post for almost a month now. Truth is, I’m always busy doing ten things at the same time. An example: texting. Send me a text and I will probably read it but I’ll get back to you when I have more time.  If you’re one of those people who gets a reply from me within an hour, it means that: 1) you’re really important to me, 2) you’re just really lucky, 3) I’m just bored. It’s probably the second one, or a combination of n° 2 and 3.  Hey, I think I just found my first resolution: make more time. Secondly, I don’t want anything toxic anymore. I’m not talking about nutrition or anything. Well, maybe a little bit. It’s time to get healthy and be more active. That is something  I’ll have to keep in mind, but I was talking about toxic things…

Last year I was lucky enough to spend Christmas in Paris. Christmas in the city of lights, it had to be worth it. And yes, it was! I went there for three days and it is nearly impossible to see everything in such a short time.  We decided to act like a tourist and stick to the highlights. The best way to travel to Paris: Thalys. It will only take one hour and a half to get there. The train arrives at Gare Du Nord, which is basically in the middle of the city. Tip: if you are under age 25, make sure to visit on weekends and public holidays. An unlimited ticket for metro will only cost you 1,85 euros per day. Metro is the best way to travel around in Paris. The city is so big that it is almost impossible to travel by foot (unless you’re a hiking fan…
